Wellbeing
At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.
A dedicated space for students to find mental health resources, wellbeing tips, and contact information for support when you need it most.
Anti-Racism Action at Dapto High School
At Dapto High School, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all students and families. The NSW Department of Education rejects all forms of racism and is committed to the elimination of racial discrimination in our schools.
Our Anti-Racism Contact Officers (ARCO)
To support this commitment, our school has designated Anti-Racism Contact Officers. The ARCO is a trained staff member who assists the Principal in leading anti-racism education and managing the resolution of complaints.
The ARCO provides:
- Guidance: Advice for students and staff on how to respond to incidents of racism.
- Support: Helping staff understand the impact of racism on student learning and wellbeing.
- Resolution: Explaining the procedures for resolving complaints and acting as a support person or advocate if requested.
Meet Our ARCOs
If you have questions, concerns, or need advice regarding anti-racism at our school, please feel free to reach out to our team.

How we support student wellbeing
Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.
We do this through:
- teachers who help students feel welcome and included
- access to school counsellors, school psychologists and specialist staff
- programs that support health, social skills, attendance and positive behaviour
- help for students who are new or changing year levels
- clear expectations for behaviour and respectful relationships
- staff who get to know each child and work closely with families
- developing health care plans for students
- open communication about wellbeing and support.
